No provider may do it for you, whatever they advertise. A strictly personal duty, in the register's own words
The central agency states that producers must perform the registration themselves because it is a strictly personal obligation, and that the same applies to changes of registration data. A registration carried out by a third party does not fulfil the duty. A commissioned third party that is not the appointed representative may perform neither the registration nor the volume reports. That is why the representative mandate and this guided session are two different things.

Where a first registration goes wrong
The brand names are guessed
The register records brands as they appear on the packaging, and marketplaces check listings against them. Where a seller has no brand it registers under its company name. Getting this wrong quietly breaks the marketplace check later.
The tax number does not match
One tax number per company, and it must be the same number used in the dual-system contract and the marketplace account. A mismatch between the three is a common cause of a failed platform validation.
The representative field is left empty
A foreign producer cannot complete a first registration without naming a representative. Our identifier has to exist before you start, which is why the mandate comes first.

Why will you not just do it with my login?
Because a registration performed by a third party does not satisfy the duty, even with your credentials. We would be selling you an act that is legally void. The guided session exists precisely so that the constraint costs you ten minutes rather than a compliance gap.
I registered years ago. What changes for me?
Your register entry now needs an authorised representative named in it, and your dual-system contract needs replacing for 2027. The register prompts you about the missing representative at every login. Adding it is a shorter route than a first registration and is priced accordingly.
What does the register number look like?
We do not publish a format we have not verified ourselves. We validate loosely and confirm the exact number against the public register entry rather than against a pattern.
Is my entry public?
Yes. The producer register is public and updated daily. It shows your number, registration date, identity and contact details, tax number, packaging types, brand names, and for a foreign company the authorised representative. Anyone can look you up, which cuts both ways.
