Does Amazon check a German register number?
Amazon has validated seller listings against the public packaging register since 1 July 2022 and deactivates listings that fail. We do not publish a current field name, timing or blocking behaviour without dated evidence from a live account.
Does storing stock in a German warehouse change who is responsible?
Holding stock in a fulfilment warehouse is not an establishment of the seller. A foreign seller shipping to German end users remains the producer, and the representative duty is unaffected.
Can one document cover packaging, WEEE and batteries?
No. Each stream has its own register, system and evidence. A packaging register number proves nothing about the other two.
Can you guarantee acceptance?
